3 Tierras Escopeta by Felipe Gregorio Cigar Review
MEDIUM to FULL-BODIED The Felipe Gregorio 3 Tierras Escopeta are uniquely shaped. Looking like 2 shotgun barrels, there are 2 binders enclosed in a Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper. The first binder has Piloto Cubano from the Dominican Republic and the second binder has Habana 92 from Nicaragua. This setup allows a pure delivery for both tobacco fillers and combines nicely with the tasty wrapper. Pepper and licorice barrel on through at the onset. Earth tones mix with the pepper and licorice early in the smoke, keeping its smooth, but strong. A hearty smoke for sure. The foot of the cigar (the end you light) is a rectangular shape, which can make it difficult to get an even light. The first 2 Tierras we smoked had an uneven burn. The rest were fine once we got the lighting technique done for this strangely shaped cigar. A word to the wise... be careful of the ashes. They flake a bit and can be quite messy. For the purist who likes that pure tobacco taste with some bite, you will like this cigar. Our 3 Tierras Escopeta Felipe Gregorio cigar review gives a #8 cigar rating on our top 10 cigars list.
